Cynthia Goes to Ecuador #1 – My apologies to Cynthia; I got thrown off by her photo roundup out of order. Let’s catch up to what she’s been up to. She went to Colombia for a one day trip and spent most of her time on the bus and waiting at the border for a stamp in her passport.
Cynthia Goes to Ecuador #2 – She repeats some advice about the dress code in Cotacachi and takes us out for a typical Ecuadorian lunch. Cynthia says that becoming a SOZ blogger has “skyrocketed” her readership.
Cynthia Goes to Ecuador #3 – Responding to a comment from a wheelchair bound reader, Cynthia grabs her camera and photographs obstacles around town. Though the sidewalks and streets are not wheelchair friendly there are always people who are willing to step up to help.
Ecuador George – George had to break his vow not to buy any new stuff when he needed a new computer for the office. He’s been so happy with his iMac and wanted to go Apple but didn’t want to replace all his PC components. Enter the Mini Mac.
Ecuador Photos – In addition to today’s photos from Quito, Robert writes instructions for traveling with pets to Ecuador. Their cat Merry has made the trip twice.
Exodus and Ecuador – Pat and Sue travel north to Baños and witness smoke spewing out of Tungurahura. They stayed at Luna Runtun, a resort in the clouds.
Finding our Paradise in Ecuador – Nan visits Puerto Engabao, a popular surf beach outside of Playas with her friend Nancy. It’s windy and cooler, less populated and more pristine. Nan tries fresh oysters straight from the ocean.
Gringos Abroad – Here’s a dangerous problem we don’t discuss much, Bryan tells us the areas where most crimes are committed.
Juntos en el Camino de la Vida – After a long delay their container finally arrives. Unpacking all their stuff feels like Christmas especially since it’s been almost two years since they packed it up. Now they can invite out of town guests to stay.
p.s. I’ll be working this weekend assembling Steve’s favorite videos. You all have a good one and we’ll see you on Monday.
