Exodus and Ecuador – Sue found a better hotel for the remainder of their stay in Quito. It’s a good thing that Pat is feeling so much better because their days have been busy doing the tourist thing, there’s the plaza, a parade, food court at the mall, playground in the park and a visit to their immigration attorney.
Gringos Abroad – Bryan wants to clarify what “spring-like weather” in Cuenca really means. He says it’s perfect for a guy who used to live in Nova Scotia, “The sun is hot in the day and it cools off significantly at night. It rains a fair amount often without much warning.” So there you go.
Rich and Nancy – The duo decides it’s time to head out of town, so off they go with Barbara and Howard to Azogues, capital of Canar. They arrived on a Saturday in time for the cattle market and then toured the rest of the town stopping at the cathedral. The foursome finished the day with a drive up to the ruins.
