ECUADOR NEWS – For those of you following the environmental lawsuit against Chevron, you know that the oil giant has appealed the guilty verdict and obtained an injunction barring payment of the award. New developments in the case have generated quite a bit of discussion amongst environmentalist activists. Although they cry foul, there’s evidence of Chevron’s behind the scenes scheming to get the case moved out of U.S. courts to the Ecuadorian justice system.

He received a recommendation to try Chifa Hong Kong for some Chinese food and ran into two friends who were also there for the first time. He decided that the food was so good that there was definitely going to be a next time.
Life in Quito – When you live in Ecuador you still need an address in the States to receive mail, bank statements, file taxes, etc. You might be able to forward it all to a friend or family member. Some people use a mail forwarding service or U.S. Post Office to a P.O. Box in Ecuador.
